Dice-K is trying to become the first Red Sox to start 9-0 on the season in a long time. On Tuesday during a worm up pitch he left the game with a injury to his throwing shoulder. After that he went to see a doctor about it and is now in jeopardy of missing his next start. Now only time will tell if he will be ok but if I was a Red Sox fan i would say my prayers.

I thought that what had happened to the people over in China was just not right to people that have done nothing wrong. Now with the death toll up nearly 9,000 it is getting worse by the day. Now almost every person is with out a home and most with out all their family members. The thing is they couldn’t do anything about it because it was an attack made by mother nature. But all we can do now is pray and hope that for most people that they will recover from this and become whole once again.

1. The young man in the picture is Matt La Porte and he was one of the victims of the Virgina Tech shooting.
2. The author of the article is Barbara La Porte and she is the mother of Matt.
3. He was killed in the shooting April 16th on the campus of Virgina Tech.
4. We feel very bad because of what happened to the boy she razed and was killed just like that.
5. I sometimes find myself saying “what if” just like “what if it was me instead of her.” I think back of how it would affect my family and then it clicks and I snap out of it.
6. It is still a touching thing because of how she would want to be apart of the circle of forgiveness.
7. When the author says “What’s the chance that this is going to affect me,” it is interesting how she would have confidence in God like that. The second thing would have to be when she talks about the scriptures.
8. My overall feeling about this article is sadness because how a mother can loss a child like that and would be able to come out and express he feelings like that. To me that shows a lot because she had no fear in saying what she wants about what happened to her son that April 16th morning.

The Tar Heels won the ACC tournament on Sunday. After the win the Tar Heels had to wait until that night to see if they will become a number 1 seed. Which they did and they will now have a shot at the title.

The Red Sox’s are going to be with out their top pitcher Josh Beckett for the opener in Japan next week. He hurt his back last week and still has not fully recovered from the injury making him not able to pitch on opening day. I believe that is a big blow to the Sox’s lineup on opening day.

The Yankees are not going to stop the NHL from having a game as one of the final events at Yankee stadium. The team has no problem with anything all they care about is the new stadium being built next door. They are more worried about the all-star game this coming summer.

The Tar Heels won on Saturday which not only kept the # 1 spot in the country but they won the ACC season title. The Tar Heels led by Tyler Hansbrough who scored his 2,000 point as a Tar Heel. The Tar Heels are now looking at that final game down in New Orleans for the National Title. That is what the Tar Heels are looking forward to in the uncoming month’s. It is going to be a long road but they are use to it. So now it is go time and it is the best time of the year it is MARCH MADNESS.

I am not a Giants fan but I thought it was one great game. I love how it came down to the final seconds. I love how they were down and never gave that showed me a lot.
